At the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin (KATU), representatives of the National Agrarian Science and Education Center (NASEC), headed by Chairman Baurzhan Asanov, paid an official visit.
The delegation included staff from the Center for Transfer and Commercialization of Agrotechnologies, the National Center for Biotechnology, and the Laboratory of Biodiversity and Genetic Resources.
During the meeting, LLP “NFT-KATU” presented a wide range of its own products and solutions at the exhibition. Among them were extruded feeds, phytogenic feed additives, compound feeds from extruded distillery and slaughterhouse by-products for animals, poultry, and fish, phytopreparations for the prevention and treatment of bee diseases, phytobiotics, and rapid tests for determining the quality and safety of livestock products.
In addition, monographs and methodological guidelines for specialists in animal husbandry and veterinary science were presented.
Particular attention of the participants was drawn to new developments – a phytobiotic udder teat treatment and an extruded feed additive containing concentrates of seven phytogenics, aimed at preventing and treating mastitis in animals and improving their productivity. Both products have successfully passed production testing.
NASEC Chairman Baurzhan Asanov highly appreciated the educational and scientific potential of the university. He emphasized that Seifullin University plays a key role in integrating science and education with the real agricultural sector and stressed the importance of maintaining the university’s status as a foundation for the commercialization of scientific developments and their implementation in agricultural production – an area in which our company is actively working.
