A scientific internship is a crucial stage in the educational process, providing students and young researchers with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of scientific research. It allows participants not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge but also to acquire practical skills essential for a successful career in science.

From April 2 to 15, 2025, employees of "NFT-KATU" LLP first-year PhD student Alenova M.E. and first-year master's student Gaidukevich V.V. completed an internship at the Scientific and Production Platform for Agricultural Biotechnology (SPPAB) under the guidance of Director Dr. Biol. Sc., Acting Professor Elena Vladimirovna Kukhar.

The internship at SPPAB provided an opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge in microbiology, one of the key areas of biotechnology, and opened doors to new opportunities in the scientific careers of young specialists.

The trainees actively participated in experiments under the supervision of experienced researchers, mastered modern technologies and methods used in microbiological research, and developed skills in working with laboratory equipment and advanced technologies. They also engaged in discussions on current topics, exchanged experiences with colleagues in their research fields, and contributed to writing articles and preparing scientific reports. The internship strengthened their networking, which may prove valuable for future collaborations.
