On February 19,2025, "KazAgroMedia" represented by Guldana Temirkhan, and farmers from the Akmola region visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry Technology at S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical Research University. The purpose of the visit was to propose a joint project aimed at commercializing research, development, and technological innovations (RSSTA). The project seeks to unite the efforts of science and production to create a premium farm product.
It is anticipated that within the framework of the project, university scientists, farmers, and entrepreneurs will collaborate to develop a brand of quail eggs under the working title "The Heritage Valley". The primary goal of this initiative is to highlight the role of Seifullin University as a leading scientific center in the agricultural sector.
Guldana Temirkhan is confident that this collaboration will result in a product distinguished by its high quality and unique characteristics. Farmers Altynay Tanirbergenova and Nurland Tokenov expressed their desire to incorporate the developments of Kazakh scientists into their production processes, with plans to further refine and reduce costs to bring the product to market.
This implementation project is a continuation of a scientific project conducted at the university by young researchers under the guidance of PhD D.K. Zhanabayeva. As a result of the work carried out by the staff of "NFT-KATU" LLP, feed formulations for meat and egg-producing quails were developed, enriched with phytobiotic components, enabling the production of organic products. The application of extrusion technology in feed production has enhanced its nutritional value and digestibility for poultry, positively impacting meat productivity. Production experiments demonstrated that the use of phytobiotic-enriched extruded feed increases meat productivity by 11.7% and egg productivity by 76.8%.
