Designed for the prevention and treatment of invasive and infectious bee diseases. Effective in varroatosis, acarapidosis, nosematosis, and other diseases. They do not contain chemical, synthetic, and other toxic components. They can be used to stimulate the overall development of bee colonies and produce organic bee products.
Biostrips contain concentrated extracts of phytopreparations with essential oils, phenol-carboxylic acids, flavonoids, terpenoids, hydroxycinnamic acids, sesquiterpene alcohols, and other components extracted from vegetable raw materials.
The components of the used phytoextracts have pronounced antimicrobial properties that are superior to those of propolis extract, and in some cases, eucalyptus oil.
There are no restrictions on the collection of honey during the use of strips.
The number of strips per hive depends on the purpose of the treatment.
For prevention:
Total number: 12 strips.
Application schedule: Place 3 strips between the frames at one-week intervals (on day 1, 7, 14, and 21).
For treatment (in case of severe infestation):
Total number: 16-20 strips.
Application schedule: Similar to the preventive one, but use 4-5 strips at a time.
For winter preparation:
Total number: 3 strips.
Application schedule: A single application in autumn, after the honey flow has ended.
