The VYUGA-3M has two grinding modes: Sunflower and Cereals/Feeds.
The mill grinds material with a high-speed rotating blade combined with cyclic rotation of the grinding assembly. The assembly must be tilted for uniform grinding and sample homogenisation. The tilt angle is set automatically for the selected mode.
Used to prepare samples for moisture, protein, fat and fibre determination and other quality analyses by infrared spectroscopy and other laboratory methods.
GENERAL FEATURES
Programmable grinding modes
The laboratory mill has two grinding modes:
Sunflower – for grinding oilseeds.
Cereals/Feeds – for cereals, pulses, feeds and feed raw materials.

Easy operation with an information display
Operation is easy and convenient. Grinding mode and time are set with one button, and the information display shows the grinding parameters.
Grinding high-fat samples (up to 55%)
Automatic cyclic rotation of the grinding assembly through 210° and 90°, combined with high-speed grinding, minimises sample heating and chamber oiling, ensuring rapid, high-quality grinding and homogenisation of high-fat samples.
Sample preparation without heating
The special grinding chamber design, with grinding in an upper aluminium bowl, and dedicated blades ensure rapid grinding with minimal heating and no moisture loss. Following UNIIM testing, the mills are recommended for sample preparation for moisture determination.
The mill has two grinding bowls for continuous, convenient operation with the cooling system* (*supplied from 1 May 2019).
Special grinding bowls with a convenient magnetic lock
The magnetic lock provides simple, convenient and secure attachment of the bowl to the grinding assembly.
Grinding different sample types
Blades of different geometries can be quickly exchanged when changing products, allowing a broad range of agricultural materials, from wheat to soybeans and sunflower seeds, to be ground using specially developed programmes.
The mill is supplied with the following blades:
Blade No. 2 – for oilseeds and cereals;
Blade No. 4 – for feeds and feed raw materials;
Blade No. 1 – for soybeans.
