APPLICATIONS

Laboratories at grain-producing farms, elevators and grain receiving stations, breeding centres, crop research institutes, oil and fat enterprises, metrology centre control and analytical laboratories, and other organisations researching, assessing and certifying cereals and oilseeds.

GENERAL FEATURES

Analyses a broad range of quality indicators: protein, moisture, gluten quantity and quality (IDK), fat/oil content, water absorption capacity and others.

The integrated computing system and mathematical methods (linear regression, PCR or principal component regression, and PLS or partial least squares) allow analysis of many products and development of complex calibration equations. Up to 1 million measurement results can be stored.

Equipped with a universal cuvette.

Works with ground samples.

Includes calibration for moisture and protein determination in whole grain (wheat and barley).

Analysis takes 1–1.2 minutes. Several indicators are determined in a single measurement.

The amino acid composition of compound feed ingredients can be calculated.

The analyser can be used as a moisture meter for rapid determination above 17%.

Each start-up includes self-testing of internal connections, the monochromator and detector, maintaining accuracy throughout the service life.

Measurement error complies with GOST requirements.

Local networks on the EKANET platform can provide centralised remote access to measurement data and ensure measurement uniformity. The INFRASCAN-3151 can serve as a data storage and transmission server in the EKANET network.

Infrared sample preparation requires no decomposition or extraction; the product must be ground. Sample heterogeneity and coarse particle size cause systematic and statistical errors. Unground samples expose only the grain surface, reducing representativeness of the kernel.

For accurate analysis, prepare samples using BOREY, KALIBR or VYUGA laboratory mills.

Results are displayed on the instrument and can be sent to an office printer over a local network (remote access) or printed on the supplied printer.

SOFTWARE

INFRASCAN-3151 software enables remote calibration updates over the Internet and development of new calibration equations. Calibration development uses mathematical and statistical methods including linear regression, PCR (principal component regression) and PLS (least squares).

Additional calibrations can be installed

Remote access allows existing calibrations to be updated, additional calibrations installed, new models developed for new products, and technical settings adjusted when necessary.

The INFRASCAN-3151 is listed in the State Register of Measuring Instruments under No. 83050-21 and holds type approval certificate No. 62251-15 dated 23.07.2021. All instruments undergo initial verification and are supplied with the corresponding certificate.
