The units use a thermogravimetric (air-thermal) method to determine moisture mass fraction by weighing a sample before and after drying and calculating its moisture content.

ASESH-8 air-thermal measuring units are listed in the State Register of Measuring Instruments under No. 58526-14 and hold type approval certificate OC.C.31.005А No. 56847. The units undergo initial verification and are supplied with the corresponding certificate. Verification interval: 12 months.
ASESH-8 drying ovens undergo initial qualification and are supplied with the corresponding certificate and initial test equipment qualification report. Qualification interval: 24 months.
Two independent drying chambers
Two independent drying chambers and two temperature setting and control units allow independent measurements to be performed simultaneously in both chambers.
Simultaneous moisture determination in 12 samples
Each drying chamber consists of 6 independent cells, each accommodating 2 weighing bottles. The total capacity of the ASESH-8-2 is 24 weighing bottles.
Convenient access to drying chamber cells
Four doors on the front provide access to the cells.
The drying chamber does not need preheating before loading
samples above the set drying temperature.
The drying chamber is a cast aluminium body divided into independent cells (each accommodates 2 weighing bottles), preventing a temperature drop when samples are loaded.
Samples can be added to an operating drying chamber that already contains samples
This is possible because the drying chamber consists of 4 independent sections, each with its own door.
Warm-up time: 30 minutes
The air-thermal units have a power rating of 1200 W. Energy consumption during warm-up is the same as that of comparable lower-power ovens.
Natural ventilation
The absence of rotating parts ensures completely silent operation and a long service life.
Built-in timer
The ASESH-8-2 has 4 timers that monitor the end of drying in each section and provide audible and visual signals.
