On December 8, 2025, a republican scientific and methodological seminar dedicated to current issues in bee epizootology and modern methods of their control was held at Shymkent University on the basis of the Department of Natural Sciences.

Within the framework of the event, Raikhan Kh. Mustafina, PhD, senior researcher of project AP23484620, took part in the seminar and delivered a presentation entitled “Phytogenics in the Control of Bee Diseases.” In her report, she highlighted the potential of phytogenic components in the prevention and reduction of the prevalence of bee diseases, emphasizing their importance as an environmentally safe alternative to conventional treatments.

The seminar participants discussed modern scientific approaches to maintaining the health of bee colonies, exchanged practical experience, and emphasized the importance of implementing innovative solutions in beekeeping.

The organization of such scientific events contributes to the development of agricultural science, strengthens professional dialogue, and promotes the adoption of modern technologies in the beekeeping sector.
