About the Product

«7-Phyt» is a phytogenic feed additive based on extruded plant-derived raw materials and a complex of natural plant extracts. The additive is intended for oral administration and can be incorporated into standard feeding programs for farm animals.

The complex of biologically active compounds helps improve feed intake, supports physiological digestive and metabolic processes, liver function, and the natural resistance of animals.

Particular attention in the development of «7-Phyt» was given to its potential use in the feeding of high-producing animals, including during periods of increased physiological and metabolic stress.

Composition

The feed additive contains:

• extruded wheat and corn;
• ultrasound-assisted extracts of seven plant materials:
  1. wormwood (Artemisia absinthium);
  2. yarrow (Achillea millefolium);
  3. dill (Anethum graveolens);
  4. poplar leaves (Populus spp.);
  5. milk thistle (Silybum marianum);
  6. coriander (Coriandrum sativum);
  7. red pepper (Capsicum annuum).

The plant components were selected based on their biological activity and potential synergistic effects.

The «7-Phyt» feed additive is intended for inclusion in the diets of farm animals to:

• improve feed intake;
• support liver function, particularly in high-producing animals;
• support physiological digestive processes;

Results of Production Trials

Production trials of the «7-Phyt» feed additive demonstrated positive effects on feed intake and animal productivity.

Under the conditions of the production trials, the following results were observed:

+19.7% – increase in feed intake

+18.1% – increase in milk production

These results indicate the potential of the «7-Phyt» phytogenic feed additive for use in modern feeding systems for farm animals.

Directions for Use

The «7-Phyt» phytogenic feed additive can be used as part of the animals’ main diet either as an extruded feed additive or as a complex of plant extracts.

• As an extruded feed additive: the recommended dosage for cattle is 200 g per animal per day.
• As a complex of plant extracts: direct incorporation into feed is recommended at a rate of 46 L per 1 metric ton of finished feed (46 L/t or 4.6 L per 100 kg), ensuring uniform distribution throughout the feed mass.

The duration and application regimen should be determined according to the physiological condition and productivity of the animals and the characteristics of the diet.

Scientific Development

The «7-Phyt» phytogenic feed additive was developed within the framework of the grant-funded research project AP23484620 “Development and Implementation of Phytogenics and Phytobiotics for the Prevention and Treatment of Mastitis in Animals with Assessment of Milk Quality and Safety.”

The development is aimed at introducing scientifically substantiated phytogenic solutions into modern feeding and health-management systems for farm animals.
