The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to the composition of a feed additive based on spent oyster mushroom substrates and to a method for its preparation aimed at increasing the productivity of farm animals.

The technical objective of the invention is to develop a method for preparing a feed additive from spent oyster mushroom substrate.

The technical result consists in increasing the nutritional value and digestibility of the feed additive, ensuring its microbiological safety, as well as improving the functional state of animals.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the spent oyster mushroom substrate is ground to a particle size of 3–5 mm, mixed with grain components and flax, enriched with vitamin–mineral and phytobiotic additives, and subjected to barothermal processing to obtain granules.

The method for preparing a feed additive based on mushroom substrate increases the meat productivity of animals and can be used in livestock production and feed manufacturing.
