The invention relates to the production of animal feed, in particular to extruded feed for dogs.
The technical objective of the invention is to develop a complete and safe dog feed with hepatoprotective properties using extrusion technology and enrichment with phytobiotics.
The technical result of the invention is achieved by producing dog feed from heat-treated parts of animal and poultry carcasses by mechanical grinding together with grain and legume components (wheat, corn, peas), flax, and phytobiotics, followed by extrusion.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that meat and by-products subjected to mechanical grinding in a rotary drum together with grain and legume components (wheat, corn, and peas) are mixed with flax, as well as with a mineral additive and the BioFeed-P phytobiotic additive possessing hepatoprotective properties, and with a phytobiotic extract of wormwood (Artemisia absinthium L.). The resulting mixture is subjected to extrusion at temperatures of up to 180 °C, producing pellets with a diameter of 3 to 10 mm.
The method for producing extruded enriched dog feed with hepatoprotective properties meets the nutritional needs of animals and contributes to maintaining their health at a high level.
