The MicroCC 20 Vet automatic hematology analyzer has been installed at NFT-KATU LLP. This advanced diagnostic equipment is specially designed for veterinary medicine and is intended for performing complete blood counts (CBC) in various animal species, including dogs, cats, cattle, horses, and others.

Measures 20 parameters and generates 3 histograms:

White Blood Cell (WBC) Parameters:

• WBC – White Blood Cells (total count)
• LYM (LYMPH) – Absolute lymphocyte count (in g/L or ×10⁹/L)
• LYM% (LY%) – Lymphocyte percentage among WBCs
• MID (MXD) – Mixed cells (monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, atypical cells)
• MID% (MXD%) – Mixed cell percentage among WBCs
• GRA (GRAN, NEUT) – Granulocytes (neutrophils, including band and segmented forms)
• GRA% (GRAN%, NEUT%) – Granulocyte percentage among WBCs

Red Blood Cell (RBC) Parameters:

• RBC – Red Blood Cells (count)
• HGB (Hb) – Hemoglobin (blood concentration)
• HCT (PCV) – Hematocrit (percentage of RBC volume in total blood volume)
• MCV – Mean Corpuscular Volume (femtoliters, fL)

The analyzer requires only 25 µL of whole blood, making the procedure minimally invasive – especially beneficial for small animals and young specimens.
